Event Attire Guidelines

Main Entry Walk:

• Attire: Any plain black, well-fitted clothing is acceptable. This means no patterns, logos, or embellishments, unless it's branded MODE.L or KAYZIE. The focus here is on a sleek and unified presentation.

• Hair & Makeup: These are at the contestant's discretion. However, we recommend styling hair up and back away from the face to ensure visibility and a polished look.

 

Swim/Beach Theme Walk:

• Attire: Outfits should be age-appropriate and can be any brand or color. We encourage choices that are comfortable and suitable for a swim or beach theme. Over skirts, beach towels, props, etc., are permitted.

 

Personality Pop Walk:

• Attire: This is your chance to shine! Choose an outfit that truly compliments you and has a "match" or element that showcases your unique personality. The goal is for your personality to be highlighted while featuring your chosen outfit.

 

Freestyle/Flow Walk:

• Attire & Performance: For this walk, we're looking for something unique, artsy, and expressive. Think outside the box with your fashion choices and feel free to incorporate simple dance moves, pageant slides, or other expressive movements. The key is to keep it classy and let your creativity flow!

 

Footwear:

• It is recommended to wear a heel. Please choose a height and style that allows you to walk confidently and comfortably.

When submitting your photos, please ensure all images are 8x10 inches in size and in color.

A quick but important note: We recommend avoiding "glitz" photos (images with excessive sparkle, props, or overly dramatic effects) and heavily edited photos (those with significant airbrushing, filters, or alterations). We want to see your natural look and genuine expressions!

Photo Submission Categories:

1. Headshot

   • What it is: This category is all about showcasing your face clearly and expressively. A headshot typically focuses on your head and shoulders, with a clear view of your eyes. The background should be simple and uncluttered so that you are the main focus. Think of it as a professional or formal portrait that highlights your features and personality.

   • Purpose: Often used for professional profiles, acting portfolios, modeling composites, or any situation where a clear, direct image of your face is needed.

2. Beach Theme

   • What it is: For this category, your photos should evoke the feeling of a beach environment. This could include shots taken on a sandy beach, by the ocean, near palm trees, or with props and clothing that suggest a beach setting (e.g., swimwear, sarongs, sunglasses, beach hats). The overall mood should be relaxed, sunny, and natural, capturing the essence of a day at the seaside.

   • Purpose: Ideal for lifestyle modeling, travel brochures, swimwear advertisements, or general imagery representing leisure and summer.

3. Print Model

   • What it is: This category is for images that demonstrate your versatility and suitability for various print advertising campaigns. Photos here should show you interacting with products, conveying emotions, or portraying specific scenarios that would be effective in magazines, brochures, billboards, or online advertisements. The focus is on your ability to tell a story or sell a concept through your expressions, posing, and interaction with the scene. Variety in styling and mood is encouraged.

   • Purpose: To showcase your range as a model for commercial purposes across different industries (e.g., fashion, beauty, lifestyle, product).

4. Friendship

   • What it is: These photos should capture genuine moments of connection and camaraderie between individuals. This category is about illustrating the warmth, fun, and joy of friendship. Images can feature groups of friends, pairs, or even candid shots that highlight shared experiences, laughter, support, or lighthearted interactions. The focus should be on authentic emotions and natural poses that convey a sense of togetherness.

   • Purpose: Often used for lifestyle imagery, social media campaigns, advertisements promoting shared experiences, or editorial features on friendships.
